Dentist and student loans

From this year, student loans won’t be wiped off for 30 years instead of 20. Would a general dentist be paying off all their student loans? I’m debating on whether or not I should get a maintenance loan as a dental student. If I knew I wouldn’t be able to pay off all my student loans then I would get as many loans as I can but I’m not too sure with dentistry.

Actually the repayment term is increasing from 30 to 40 years. There is an article worth reading on the MSE website, which includes a table of how likely 2023 starters are to pay of their loans in full based on salaries:
