Hi there,

So long as you have no gap in study you'll be a continuing student. For example, if you're currently studying in the 22/23 year you can apply as a returning student for 23/24 so long as you haven't withdrawn from your current course.

Alright thank you so just to confirm if someone decides to change uni and course but still study the year straight after then they would be a continuing student and a change in uni doesn’t make you a new student it would only make you a new student if a gap year is taken right

That's right, yes - in this case you'll be a continuing student since there's no gap in study.
