Turing Funding - Study abroad nightmare!
Has anyone from the UK used the Turing Funding scheme and had a complete nightmare with it? i.e. getting stranded in the host country because of payment delays or having to change travel plans. Also has it discouraged anyone from applying for study abroad in the first place?

I'm studying in Sweden but probably in a domestic bachelor's program... but we've had one or two UK exchange students on our courses who have used the Turing Scheme and I don't think they encountered any issues. I have no idea how it works but they said their university mainly did all the paperwork and it was all a relevantly straightforward process from start to finish.
