Turing Scheme and Travel Grant - Year Abroad Programme

Hi, If you successfully apply for the Turing Scheme can you decline it and opt for the travel grant as my understanding is you cant have both? Is that correct. This is for someone on the Year Abroad Study Programme. Thanks

So is the Turing scheme something that is automatically awarded to students and not actually applied for.

To confirm you can pick one and not have to have one that has been allocated to you.
