When to pay the tuition fees in University of Edinburgh?

Hello, I am a new student coming to University of Edinburgh. I have found that the best way to pay the tuition fee is via the tuition invoice in the student account. May I ask when will this invoice be issued and what is the deadline for the tuition payment? Will the invoice only be issued after I am fully matriculated? Is that means I can only pay the tuition fee after I have completed international check-in in person? Thank you
