Am I eligible for full funding for 3 years

I studied a HND course in 2025, I completed the first year but never went back the second. I am now in the position where I want to get back into education and go to university. I am currently doing an access to higher education course (part-time) because I haven't been in education in the last five years (funded by an advanced learner loan). Now I want to do a Paramedic Science course and under the impression this is not an exception course. I am aware the rule for funding is 3 years plus 1. So I have to minus 1 year for the HND course in 2015, do I also have to minus the year I am doing for the part-time Access Course too? Meaning I will only be funded for two years? 3 + 1 - 2 = 2?

Hi kayt94,

We don't count the access course as a year of previous study so you should be okay to get funding for your new Paramedic Science course.
