bmat results

i got 5.2 4.7 and 3.5A. disappointed but managed to scape an interview with Cambridge. do i actually have a chance at an offer now? i feel like my efforts have gone to waste and that im doing the interview with low hopes since my bmat is poor in comparison to the other candidates this year. (Home applicant btw)
I have decent gcses so i wonder if thats why they didn't reject me yet, although im surprised i even got an interview since ive seen so many people do so well. im grateful that i even got an interview, but is there a chance i can actually turn it into an offer?

thanks in advance

Cambridge interview anyone they think can realistically achieve 2A* A and then use all stats to decide re an offer, so few are rejected pre-interview due to their BMAT. But they would not interview you if there was no chance of an offer
100% you have a chance. Not sure if you're a contextual student, but either way, interviews are usually the make or break factor (apart from when applicants have truly insane test scores, and even then they still are hugely important). If your interview performance is strong, that can definitely override a slightly lower BMAT.

Massive congrats on getting an interview; now just ensure you revise y12 material solidly + practice interview technique. Fingers crossed for you, I'm sure you'll smash it!

thank you so much! 🙂 i'll have to rely on interview to carry me then haha. i'm not sure if im considered contextual under cambridges flags, but i think i do hit some of criteria. thanks for your kind words again.
