Is it possible to only recieve maintenance loan on the first year and not 2nd or 3rd year.

Yes. You apply every year and you can choose each year whether you want a tuition fee loan, a maintenance loan or both.

As PQ has stated, you will be given the choice each academic year of applying for the Tuition Fee Loan, Maintenance Loan, Supplementary Grants and Disabled Students Allowances where applicable.
