University or Degree Apprenticeship?

I am not sure if to go to uni or do a degree apprenticeship. I have a list of pros and cons for each but it's pretty equal.
University
pros:
-experience early adulthood
-meet new people
-explore a new city
-could do a different study to professional policing
cons:
-expensive
-have no savings
-socially awkward teehee
-alot of pressure on getting the best grades
PCDA
pros:
-salary
-new city
-hopefully meet new people
-good start on career
-when im 25 i'll already have 7 years of experience
cons:
-straight into 9-5 work
-lonely
-no "growing up" period
-need driving license
-need a lot of savings

What do you think?
im in a similar boat, degree apprenticeship vs standard degree :s-smilie:

when i get offers back, i can obviously make a more informed decision. But i disagree with the con of DA being not "growing up" :naughty:

we're always growing up! I don't think a degree determines a 'growing up' phase or not. One more thing, you said a pro of DA is 'meeting new people', but a con is 'being lonely'?

imo, DA is better. you get all the benefits of a standard degree + salary... what's there not to love?
