Am I able to get a maintenance loan if I do a foundation year at Sheffield

I'm considering applying to Sheffield's foundation year for electrical engineering through clearing but I don't know if I am able to get I maintenance loan if I was to join.

Is anyone aware of whether it is or isn't possible

If it's integrated as part of the course (e.g. it's a 4 year BEng with foundation year, 5 year MEng with foundation year) and you don't have any prior study at university level before, then yes you should get a maintenance loan as well as tuition fee loan from SFE if you meet the other requirements. How much you are entitled to will be dependent on your parental (or your own if over 25 or classified as an independent student) income.
