Hiya! I'm hoping someone can help me refine which unis I could apply to for medicine for 2024 entry.
My GCSEs were 6 x 9s (including Eng Lang) and 4 x 8s (including Maths and Eng Lit)
Predicted grades:
Biology - A
Chemistry - A*
French - A*
UCAT:
VR - 660
DM - 710
QR - 700
AR - 790
(Total 2860) and SJT Band 1
I've done 3 days of in-hospital work experience and an online course as well as assorted volunteering, mainly 5 months of weekly ward volunteering in a hospital (chatting to patients, serving them lunch etc). I work part-time in a pub.
No contextual data.
Currently I'm thinking of King's College London, Leeds and 2 of Sheffield / Nottingham / Plymouth / HYMS
I like the integrated approach and early clinical teaching without a huge emphasis on research, as well as the opportunity to do a language module that I know KCL and Leeds offer.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
