maintenance loan for part time distance study? Medical evidence

Hi
I am aware that to get a maintenance loan for part time distance study you need to show that your disability means you cannot study part time as a non-distance student.
I have a couple of Q's
Firstly, if you get PIP meaning you qualify for DSA does this mean you still need to provide additional medical evidence?
esp. if you get PIP for anxiety/travel purposes

Hi Abby,

Yes, you would. DSA and the part time distance learning maintenance loan are two different forms of funding so even if you've provided evidence for DSA you'd still need to send this to us for the maintenance loan so the assessors can review this and determine your eligibility. Thanks, Jason
