Top up year
I have one year of previous study for a computing course which I had to leave due to a bereavement. I am now doing a 2 year business FND course which I get student finance for. I want to do a top up year to get a bachelor’s in business. Will I need to finance the course myself or will I be able to apply for a top up year considering my gift year has been used?

You should get funding for your Top Up course as the year of previous study that you did not complete due to a bereavement will be covered by your additional year of funding that all students are offered.
