It is all dependent on the employer in question really. And the course itself will have an effect on this too.

Hey there @sua008 !

It depends which placement you choose. I'm on my placement year right now and I get paid but that's because I was looking for one I got paid for. Some placements are unpaid and they're often known as unpaid internships. I didn't find out until the second interview whether it was paid or unpaid. I decided to go for it either way because they were offering exactly what I wanted to do but it does depend which one you get.
