In terms of funding for a second degree (AHP) course ; is there still an NHS grant /bursary avalable and if so does that get deducted from a student loan maintenance or is it available on top?

If you are eligible for student finance (and will study a pre-registration undergraduate or masters at a uni in England), you will be able to apply for the additional support from the NHS Learning Support Fund on top of your maintenance loan. A list of the eligible AHP courses is shown on the following link:
