SLC evidence needed?

Hi I've gotten this email but I have no clue what it means and they also sent me a text telling me I have 7 days to reply? Any help on if this is legit and what it does.

Please delete your above message as this contains private information.
We have sent an email to some students who were assessed for the higher amount of funding based on living away from home. This is part of a sample check and you should respond to the instructions on the email requesting evidence to confirm you are living away from home.

You should be able to delete the message on the desktop site, I have also reported it to the moderators but I am not sure how long it will take them to take it down.

This is a genuine request, we have sent an email to some students who were assessed for the higher amount of funding based on living away from home. This is part of a sample check and students who are living 'elsewhere' are required to send this into us.
