Changing course - funding

I am currently on second year of the degree I hate. I want to get the second year and then start another course at different university.

I just spoke to student finance and apparently, i will not be able to get tuition fee funding for my first year ???????? I will be however able to get it for year 2 and 3.

Anyone please help.

Hi

This is correct.

You are eligible to receive funding for your full course plus an additional year, therefore if you already have 2 year previous study when you start your new course then your will only be entitled to a basic maintenance loan in the 1st year and full funding in the remaining years.
