Postgraduate loan- distance learning

If I get a postgraduate loan for distance learning am I allowed to travel outside the UK for long periods of time?
I would still be based in the UK during the course but I might travel for long periods, is that allowed?

Leisure travels. As the course is distance learning I would have more possibility to travel

Hi BoB17818,

This may be acceptable if you are referring to vacations however, generally you should be residing in the UK throughout the majority of the year as you need to physically be in the UK while you are studying your course.
