Student loan for UK citizen living in Switzerland

Hi there

I wonder someone can help me with this question:

I am holding British passport and have been living in Switzerland for 5 years (because of parents' job!). I am planning to study in a UK university next year. I have asked around: it seems I only need to pay home student fee for the university. However, can anyone tell that whether I can apply for the student loan in UK, and how?

Thank you very much for your help!

Assuming that prior to the move to Switzerland you were living in England (you've posted in the SFE forum) then you would be eligible under group 6 of the categories: http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/Information--Advice/Fees-and-Money/Government-Student-Support#layer-3942

"6: Settled status and exercised a right of residence in the EEA/Switzerland"

You would apply using the online application: https://www.gov.uk/apply-online-for-student-finance
