Applying for loans whilst being employed full time?

I am a 'mature' UK applicant for an Undergrad degree in 2024, but am currently working full time, earning £29K.

Will I be declined if I apply for the loan/s? What if I leave the job and get a part-time role before applying?

Hi Jonas,

We do not take your work into consideration and it would not affect your eligibility for the loan. You can continue to work full time if you wish.

Thanks, Drew

Thanks, Drew.

I was told that I have to earn under £25K at the point of applying?
Hi Jonas,

No that is not correct as we do not take the students income into consideration however if you have a partner they would be asked to support your application and for you to be awarded the maximum Maintenance Loan their income would have to be £25,000 or less.

Thanks, Drew
