Is cardiff university a diverse university or not? Apparently I've heard cardiff university is not a diverse university for medicine.
Hey! I'm Fatiha, a Cardiff Uni Student Rep
As someone from an ethnic minority background, I was super worried about this when I applied. Luckily, I think there's a lot of diversity at Cardiff! To be honest I never really felt like the uni was lacking in diversity. We have a massive student union with loads of societies, with a lot of them being multi-cultural and religious societies. They're pretty active and tend to be representative of how diverse Cardiff is. I recommend giving the Student Union website a visit if you're curious about what kind of societies are out there. Plus, the student union tends to hold a lot of multi-cultural events to get involved in. It's pretty cool since you get to try new foods and see what other societies are up to.
If you had any specific questions about what Cardiff is like as an ethnic minority person, I'm happy to answer them
