Placement year
Hi there 
I'm currently studying Biomedical Sciences and it is a 3 year course, which is what I've put on my previous SF applications. I have recently decided to take an optional placement year which will mean my course is now 4 years. What do I do about my application to Student Finance?

You can update your course length to reflect the extra year from your online account. Don't worry you'll still be entitled to student finance for this.
