I recently got diagnosed with bpd (mental health disorder).
at the time of my studies I faced these same symptoms when I requested a suspension for medical reason, however I was not diagnosed, will a gp letter explaining how these symptoms affected me at the time suffice?

Hi there,
We can consider a letter from your GP advising of the following:
Is signed and dated
Confirms the reason why the student could not continue with their studies; and
When this took place
